Estimated lead time is 45-60days from approval of artwork and measurements.
Once you place your Custom Suit order, we build a digital proof based on your color and style selections and included graphics. We then email that digital proof to the email address provided with your order. When you receive that email, you can let us know if everything is correct and approved for production, or if any artwork, colors, styles, or measurements need to be changed. Once the proof and measurements are approved, then we send all information over to production to begin building your Custom Suit.
Both ratings require the racing suits to pass specific heat and fire resistance testing. The SFI 3.4/5 requires any graphics (whether embroidered, printed, or patches) to also pass specific heat and fire resistance testing. Visit the SFI Foundation for more information.
We only accept vector graphics for Custom Suits, Custom Jacket & Pants, or Custom Team Shirts.
Vector graphics are created with programs like Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW and are typically saved in formats such as .AI, .EPS, .SVG, and sometimes .PDF. Why only vector? Vector graphics are based on mathematical formulas that can be scaled to any size without losing quality whereas rasterized images (anything in .JPG or .PNG formats) are based on colorized pixels that have a specific resolution and will lose quality with resizing.
How do I know if it's vector or rasterized? Rasterized images will appear fuzzy or pixelated when zoomed in - Vector images will maintain smooth lines when zoomed in. You can read more about Vector vs. Raster in this article: What is Vector Art?
Note: Converting .jpg, .png, or any rasterized images to a vector format (.svg, .eps) typically will not work (unless the original .jpg or .png image has a very high resolution and quality)! Saving a .jpg file as a .pdf does not make the image or graphic a vector - PDF files are able to support both vector and rasterized images.
Yes! If you have more than one logo per area, you can compress all logos for that area into one zipped file and upload with your suit order. Or you can email all additional artwork files to fscurlock@z-sportsgroup.com and include a note with your suit order that you will send extra artwork files.
Yes! If you selected a straight zipper, you will see an option to add graphics to the left or right side of the chest. If you want the graphic in the center of the chest, please include the file on either side, with a note indicating you want it in the center.
