Recertification

Z-Tech Head & Neck Restraints need to be recertified every 5 years from the manufacture date stamped on the SFI label. (For example, if your Head & Neck Restraint is stamped January 2020, then it needs to be recertified in January 2025.) Is your Z-Tech Head & Neck Restraint due for Recertification? Don't worry, recertifying is easy, just follow the steps below:

1. Step 1 - Email support@zamp-racing.com with photos of your device, including front, side, and rear, for us to issue a RA#. Please include a copy of the reply with RA# with your device.
2. Step 2 - Ship your Z-Tech to Zamp Racing and include a note indicating you need the Z-Tech Recertified, the RA#, any parts you'd like replaced, and your contact information (Phone Number, Email, and Shipping Address are required! We cannot complete recertification if we cannot contact you).
3. Step 3 - We will inspect the Z-Tech for any damaged or degraded parts that need to be replaced and contact you with those parts and costs.
4. The cost to recertify your Z-Tech is $20 plus parts and shipping. Parts are charged at 50% off retail and include only the following:
• NZSP0013 - Shoulder Pads ($21.50 Retail)
• NZSB0013 - Strapping and Buckles ($30.70 Retail)
• NZSC1015 - Spring Clip Series 2.0 ($21.50 Retail)
• NZSE0011 - Screws/Binary Posts Short - Set of Two ($21.50 Retail)
• NZSE0013 - Screws/Binary Posts Long - Set of Two ($21.50 Retail)
5. Step 4 - We replace any parts necessary and recertify your Z-Tech, then ship your Z-Tech back to you.

SFI 3.2A/20 Suits can be recertified every 5 years. There is a minimum charge of $50.00 to recertify SFI 3.2A/20 Suits, Jackets/Pants. Recertification is at Zamp’s discretion. To recertify your SFI 3.2A/20 Suit/Jacket/Pants:

• Step 1 - Ship your Suit/Jacket/Pants to Zamp Racing, with a note indicating you need to recertify plus contact information (Phone Number, Email, and Shipping Address).
• Step 2 - We will inspect your Suit/Jacket/Pants to make sure the entire suit or jacket/pants are in good condition. If in good condition, we'll contact you with total cost to recertify (minimum $50). If not, we will contact you with other options.
• Step 3 - For suits that can be recertified, we will place a new, current year patch on the suit, then ship your suit/jacket/pants back to you.
